The cultivation takes place in a greenhouse in under natural conditions. The greenhouse isn’t illuminated of heated. This makes it a sustainable product and makes sure the Marine Phytoplankton Algae can grow as natural as possible. Our Marine Phytoplankton Algae is cultivated on water from a very pure, deep underground briny water source. This water dates from the Pleistocene (130.000 years old) and contains lots of minerals. Of course no pesticides are used during the Marine Phytoplankton Algae cultivation. We only use pure water and nutrients.
